Learning 2.0 Thoughts

I was interested about what Rick Anderson had to say about "Icebergs" as we traverse in our "library boats." One he talked about was the traditional collection of print resources. I can see what he was saying about actual circulation rates being down in the past 12 years because of technology, but I don't think that really applies to an elementary school media center. We need to teach children the basics about how to use informational text and where to find it. I love technology just as much as the next guy and maybe I'm showing my digital immigrancy, but there is something great about just opening up and perusing a book! Anderson, Rick. I've been learning some really incredible things on learning 2.0 about amazing things you can do on the web. Every week we explore some new technology. It is incredible the amount of information that is out there.
